About Us

A Brief History

After spending close to twenty years working at the Big Four accounting firms and a law firm, our firm’s founding partner, Ravi Dhaddey, came to realize that what he’d like to do over the next twenty years is bring the same standard of exceptional quality service clients expect from the larger firms to his clients but at more reasonable rates. With this mission in mind, he became the founding partner of GoldPoint Law Group.

Our firm is committed to staying at the forefront of changes in law and tax code so that we know exactly when to protect our clients further and when to seize opportunities that will further benefit them.

GoldPointLawGroup

By offering a sophisticated range of services, GoldPoint Law Group is well-eqipped to finding innovative ways of designing a custom-tailored approach that meets each of our client’s ambitions.

Our philosophy at GoldPoint Law Group is simple: to give you the best legal and tax protection possible. In today’s rapidly changing world, many other firms continue to employ a “one size fits all” strategy that simply doesn’t work. At GoldPoint, we know that no two clients who walk through our doors have the same set of circumstances. You have your own unique blend of challenges and goals. We respect that and will take the time to listen to you in order to fully understand your particular concerns and goals. By combining our expertise and experience, we will then come up with innovative solutions that are custom tailored to optimally reach your business and personal goals.

Your concerns aren’t confined to standard business hours and nor are we. After hours or on weekends, we will find the time to fit you in. Can’t make it to our office? Don’t worry. We will come to you. We also have an office policy of returning phone calls and emails within 24 hours.

We emphasize active involvement and timely communication on every level. Our firm stays on top of industry trends and changes in tax codes and law so that we can immediately notify our clients of changes that might affect them. Our clients have come to rely on having access to large firm expertize while enjoying the personal attention and active, straightforward involvement of a smaller firm.

What sets GoldPoint Law Group apart from other San Francisco attorneys and their firms is one simple concept: in order to best protect our clients, we offer both tax and legal services. We personally help each client examine opportunities and manage risks from every angle – accounting, tax compliance, and legal protection. When a client was recently selling his start-up business, for example, our firm sat down with the client to explain how this one sale would effect his finances at many levels: he had to consider not only the corporate income tax implications but also the California and Federal tax implications as an individual seller. Then there was the impact he’d incur from California sales and property tax. All of this would in turn effect how he wanted to (re)structure his estate and charitable planning to better protect his finances. Finally, we advised him on how the transaction would impact his overall family financial planning.

Our emphasis is on our clients’ longevity. We’ve been doing this long enough to know that when our client’s succeed, we succeed.
